Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Edit news videos, bulletins, packages, and breaking news content as per editorial guidelines Assemble raw footage, sound bites, graphics, and visuals into broadcast-ready news stories Work closely with reporters, producers, and output teams to meet tight deadlines Edit special reports, interviews, debates, promos, and explainers Ensure accuracy, clarity, and fast turnaround during live news and breaking news situations Add lower thirds, tickers, supers, and basic motion graphics as required Maintain consistent visual style aligned with the channel's brand identity Handle footage ingestion, file management, and archiving of edited content Edit content for multiple platforms - TV broadcast, digital, and social media Ensure audio-video synchronization and broadcast-quality output.

Required Skills :

Proficiency in editing software such as

Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid, Final Cut Pro

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment Understanding of news formats, storytelling, and visual flow Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual judgment Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and breaking news hours
