We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced

News Video Editor

who has previously worked in a professional news environment. The ideal candidate should be fast, detail-oriented, and capable of editing compelling news videos for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Edit news videos daily with speed and accuracy. Cut, crop, sync audio, and assemble footage in a clean and professional manner. Add transitions, lower thirds, pop-ups, captions, and on-screen graphics. Create motion graphics and visual elements for news stories. Manage raw footage, maintain organized project files, and meet daily deadlines. Collaborate with the content team to maintain consistent visual style. Deliver final videos optimized for TV, YouTube, Instagram, and other digital platforms.

Required Skills & Expertise

Minimum 3 years of professional experience

as a video editor in a news/media organization. Strong command of:

Adobe Premiere Pro

Adobe After Effects

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Illustrator

Ability to create graphics and motion elements suitable for news content. Understanding of digital news formatting, storytelling, and pacing. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle fast turnaround requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience editing content for digital news or YouTube news channels. Knowledge of social media formats & trending news styles. Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
