Basic Requirements for Video Editor - Pureroot

1. Core Technical Skills

Strong command over editing tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut Desktop.

Ability to deliver high-quality short-form and long-form videos for multiple platforms.

Skilled in:

Cuts, transitions, pacing

Color correction & grading

Sound design, audio cleanup, syncing

Basic VFX, masking, and motion graphics

Export optimization for social media & ads

2. Ability to Create Videos On Demand

Must be able to create videos of any type on demand, based on concepts, scripts, references, or even basic ideas.

Capable of producing videos from start to finish: idea ? draft ? editing ? final output.

Flexible to create:

Product videos

Reels/shorts

Testimonials

Educational/explainer videos

Festival greetings

Ad campaigns

3. Content using AI tools :Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as:

Runway ML, Adobe AI , Invideo etc

4. Creative & Design Skills

Strong sense of storytelling, aesthetics, and brand consistency.

Basic graphic design knowledge for:

Thumbnails

Social media posts

Text animations

Understanding of camera framing, lighting, and composition is an advantage.

5. Content & Platform Understanding

Familiar with content styles for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Ads.

Ability to follow and implement trending formats, transitions, and viral styles.

Knowledge of social media algorithms, hooks, retention, and pacing

Able to convert any raw idea into a polished, engaging video with minimal supervision.

Having strong professionalism and work ethics knowledge
