About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented

Video Editor

to join our team on a

contractual, part-time basis

. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling, excellent editing skills, and the ability to deliver polished, engaging video content that aligns with our brand and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. Add motion graphics, text overlays, music, and sound effects to enhance storytelling. Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements and brand guidelines. Adapt video formats for different platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.). Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining consistent quality. Stay updated on industry trends, editing tools, and social media content styles. Organize and manage video assets efficiently for easy retrieval and future use.

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required). Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings for various platforms. Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and storytelling skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
