We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in shaping visual stories through compelling short-form and long-form video content. You will work closely with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to produce engaging videos that align with brand guidelines and audience preferences. The ideal candidate has a strong editing sense, understands visual rhythm, and knows exactly what they're doing when it comes to storytelling through video.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality video content for reels, social media, and digital platforms with a strong sense of pacing, transitions, and storytelling.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to translate concepts into visually engaging videos.
- Apply basic typography principles, including text hierarchy, font pairing, and on-screen readability, to enhance video communication.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) in terms of format, duration, and resolution.
- Maintain consistency in visual style, brand tone, and quality across all video content.
- Organize, manage, and maintain video assets and project files efficiently.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, reel formats, and platform-specific best practices, suggesting creative improvements when needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in editing reels and short-form video content.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Filmora.
- Basic but clear understanding of typography and motion text usage in videos.
- Good sense of visual aesthetics, timing, and storytelling.
- Ability to take feedback constructively and deliver revisions efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating previous work is a must.
