Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a EUR31.6 Billion international wholesaler with operations in more than 30 countries. The store network comprises a total of 623 stores in 21 countries, of which 522 offer out-of-store delivery (OOS), and 94 dedicated depots. In 12 countries, METRO runs only the delivery business by its delivery companies (Food Service Distribution, FSD).
HoReCa and Traders are core customer groups of METRO. The HoReCa section includes hotels, restaurants, catering companies as well as bars, cafes and canteen operators. The Traders section includes small grocery stores and kiosks. The majority of all customer groups are small and medium-sized enterprises as well as sole traders. METRO helps them manage their business challenges more effectively.
MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Dusseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide HR, Finance, IT & Business, Branding, Strategy operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. We are looking for...
We are seeking a multifaceted creative professional who excels in both video production and graphic design. The Senior Video Editor & Graphic Designer will be responsible for shooting, editing, and finalizing the video content ensuring delivery of high-quality visual content, managing projects from conception to final output while also contributing to designing compelling visual assets across digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure consistent quality, storytelling style, and brand alignment across all media, while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to bring ideas from concept to completion. The professional is also expected to mentor the junior designer in the team.
This role demands advanced proficiency in industry-standard video editing tools and
hands-on experience with Adobe Word Cloud for design and video production. Experience with generative AI software will be an added advantage. Senior Video (Creator) Editor & Graphic Designer will also be responsible for fostering innovation in workflows and maintaining alignment with evolving media technologies.

Key responsibilities/accountabilities-
Video Production & Editing

• Develop and implement innovative video content strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Shoot high-quality video footage for campaigns, events, and promotional content.
• Be responsible for the video production process: planning, shooting, editing, and final delivery.
• Oversee the creation, editing, and finalization of all video content to maintain consistent quality standards and storytelling styles.
• Review and edit raw footage, adding motion graphics, sound, and effects as needed using professional tools.
• Manage video archives and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with managers, creative producers, and designers for content ideation and execution.
• Integrate and experiment with generative AI tools to enhance workflow, creativity, and content quality. (good to have)
• Perform thorough quality assurance on video outputs, including audio mixing, color grading, and file management.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging tools, and evolving best practices in content production and AI (good to have).

Graphic Design

• Design creative visual concepts for mailers, banners, layouts, websites, and advertising campaigns.
• Develop designs from rough drafts to polished final products.
• Create visually engaging assets that communicate ideas effectively.
• Ensure brand consistency across all design outputs.

Collaboration & Client Engagement

• Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to understand creative needs.
• Translate client requirements into impactful visual design and video solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and product teams to align creative outputs with business goals.
• Guide and mentor junior designers, ensuring design guidelines and deadlines are met.

Qualifications
Here are the desired Skills and Experience...

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of professional design and video editorial experience, including at least 2 years in senior or team lead roles.
• Proven track record of mentoring teams and managing complex multimedia projects.

Educational Qualifications-

• Bachelor's degree in mass communication, Film Editing, Multimedia, Journalism, or a related field preferred.

Required Skills & Software-

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe World Cloud Software, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for graphics, video editing, motion graphics, and effects creation.
• Experience working with generative AI tools is a plus (for video/image generation, enhancement, or automation).
• Strong knowledge of color correction, grading, audio editing, and video compression formats.
• Familiarity with Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. (not sure need to add Metro's design and video tools here)
• Ability to manage complex projects with structured workflows and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, team management, and organizational skills.
• Innovation and adaptability in integrating new media technologies and creative AI solutions.
