Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor Cinematographer to join our dynamic team. This role combines expertise in both video editing and cinematography to create compelling visual content that aligns with our brand and client expectations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using industry-standard editing software and possess a keen eye for cinematography principles.

Responsibilities:Shoot high-quality video footage using professional cameras and equipment, and also be effective and efficient with phone photography/videography. Edit raw footage to produce high-quality and engaging video content, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running. Enhance visuals by incorporating sound effects, graphics, and special effects as needed. Ensure all edited content meets technical standards for various platforms (web, social media, broadcast) Manage video library organization, including archiving and cataloging footage for future projects. Stay updated with industry trends and editing technologies to implement innovative ideas and techniques. Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions with the team. Collaborate with other departments to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.


Requirements:Proven work experience as a Video Editor and Cinematographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and cinematography equipment (e.g., DSLR cameras, lighting setups). Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting techniques, camera movement, and lighting principles. Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail and storytelling abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills. Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or similar field preferred. Experience with color grading and audio mixing is a plus.
