?Job Title: Video Editor - Podcast & YouTube Content (with Videography Skills Preferred)

?About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our content team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience editing long-form and short-form content for podcasts, YouTube videos, and social media platforms. Bonus points if you can also shoot high-quality footage as a videographer.
?Key Responsibilities

• Edit podcast episodes, long-form interviews, and YouTube videos with high-quality storytelling and smooth transitions.
• Create short-form video reels (15-60 seconds) for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
• Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, background music, and visual effects as required.
• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align video content with branding and campaign goals.
• Organize and manage raw video assets, maintaining a well-structured workflow.
• Stay updated on video content trends, platform algorithms, and editing techniques to keep our content fresh and engaging.
• (If skilled in videography) Assist in on-site shoots--setup, lighting, framing, and recording high-quality footage.

?Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro,After effect, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong portfolio showcasing podcast edits, YouTube videos, and reels/shorts.
• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm.
• Understanding of aspect ratios, resolution formats, and compression for web and mobile platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

?Bonus Skills

• Experience in videography: camera handling, lighting setup, and audio recording.
• Motion graphics/animation skills (Adobe After Effects or similar).
• Basic color grading and sound mixing skills.
• Familiarity with real estate, personal branding, or educational content formats.
