(Your key responsibilities): \xef\x82\xb7 Take the raw footage shot by a film crew and director, and then turn it into one cohesive video or film \xef\x82\xb7 Follow an outline and script and any special instructions given about what should happen in each scene \xef\x82\xb7 Assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director\'s vision and is suitable for broadcasting \xef\x82\xb7 Bring sight and sound together to tell a cohesive story \xef\x82\xb7 Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience \xef\x82\xb7 Take a brief to grasp the production team\xe2\x80\x99s needs and specifications \xef\x82\xb7 Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes\xe2\x80\x99 value and contribution to continuity \xef\x82\xb7 Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience \xef\x82\xb7 Take a brief to grasp the production team\xe2\x80\x99s needs and specifications \xef\x82\xb7 Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes\xe2\x80\x99 value and contribution to continuity \xef\x82\xb7 Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film \xef\x82\xb7 Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects \xef\x82\xb7 Create rough and final cuts \xef\x82\xb7 Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running \xef\x82\xb7 Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process \xef\x82\xb7 Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry\xe2\x80\x99s best practices to maximize efficiency

You are a pro at: \xef\x82\xb7 Editing software including Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut \xef\x82\xb7 3D composition and special effects \xef\x82\xb7 Translating ideas into complete projects \xef\x82\xb7 Creative and artistic skills \xef\x82\xb7 Story Telling
