Key Responsibilities
Conduct engaging training sessions (weekday evenings/weekends--flexible).
Teach video editing tools such as
Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
, etc.
Train students on editing workflows: trimming, sequencing, transitions, color correction, audio editing, and exporting.
Explain concepts of visual storytelling, pacing, framing, and cinematic techniques.
Provide practical, hands-on assignments and guide learners in building real-world projects.
Review and give constructive feedback on student work.
Create or update training materials, course modules, and practice exercises.
Stay updated with current editing trends, effects, short-form content styles, and industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Professional experience in video editing (portfolio/reel required).
Strong command of editing software (Premiere Pro is a must).
Good understanding of color grading, sound design, and basic motion graphics.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to break down complex concepts for beginners.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching or mentorship experience (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience with YouTube/short-form content editing.
Familiarity with After Effects or Motion Graphics (added advantage).
