Position Overview

:
As a Video Editing & Videography Intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to work on both the creation and post-production of video content. You'll assist with filming, capturing footage, and editing videos for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, websites, and promotional content. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to build a comprehensive skill set in video production, from shooting to final edit.

Key Responsibilities

:

Videography

: Assist in filming video content for various projects, including product videos, promotional materials, and social media clips. Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure high-quality footage. Collaborate with the creative team to storyboard and capture video that aligns with project objectives. Capture and manage behind-the-scenes footage, event coverage, or any required video content.

Video Editing

: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for a variety of platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, company website). Apply transitions, special effects, and motion graphics to enhance the overall quality of the video. Manage video files, ensuring proper file organization and backups. Review and make edits based on feedback from team members or clients. Edit audio, adjust color grading, and sync music to create a professional, cohesive final product.

Qualifications

:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field.

Videography Skills

: Familiarity with camera equipment (DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, or other professional video equipment), lighting setups, and sound recording.

Video Editing Skills

: Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar). Experience with motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and passion for visual storytelling. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

:

Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and post-production workflows. Familiarity with video editing for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok). A portfolio or sample video work showcasing both videography and video editing is highly encouraged. Experience with drone videography is a plus (if relevant to your projects).
