Responsibilities
Teach students the fundamentals and advanced concepts of video editing.
Provide hands-on training in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
Guide students through timelines, trimming, transitions, effects, audio syncing, and colour correction/grading.
Conduct practical sessions on editing different types of content--short films, ads, wedding videos, social media content, documentaries, and more.
Explain file formats, codecs, project organisation, workflow management, and export settings.
Assign projects, review student work, and provide constructive feedback.
Support students in creating high-quality portfolio pieces.
Stay updated with the latest editing trends, tools, and techniques.
Maintain class discipline and ensure smooth delivery of training.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, FCP, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, continuity, transitions, and visual rhythm.
Knowledge of colour correction/colour grading and audio enhancement.
Ability to teach both beginners and advanced learners in a clear, structured manner.
Good communication and classroom management skills.
Prior teaching/training experience preferred, or significant industry experience in editing.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
