We are looking for a

Video Content Strategist

with a strong creative eye and storytelling background to lead video content creation for a city-based lifestyle and culture platform. The ideal candidate will have

radio, podcasting, or media experience

and a deep understanding of

Trivandrum's people, culture, and everyday vibe

.

You'll be responsible for conceptualizing and creating video formats that capture the essence of the city -- its food, hangout spots, local trends, people, and stories -- in a way that resonates with audiences across social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a video content strategy focused on

city life, culture, lifestyle, and people.

Conceptualize and script

short-form videos (Reels/Shorts)

and story-based content that reflect the pulse of Trivandrum. Collaborate with cinematographers, editors, and the social media team to produce high-quality, engaging videos. Stay updated on

local happenings, trends, and viral formats

to keep content fresh and relatable. Plan and manage the

weekly content calendar

, ensuring consistency and creative flow. Analyze engagement metrics and optimize content for growth and audience retention.

Requirements:

Background in Radio Jockeying, Podcasting, or Digital Media Production

preferred. Strong sense of storytelling, scripting, and visual composition. In-depth understanding of

Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

ecosystems. Ability to create engaging, emotion-driven, and relatable video ideas. Passion for

Trivandrum's local culture, food, and lifestyle scene.

Basic familiarity with video production workflows (shoot planning, editing coordination, etc.).

Preferred Qualities:

Creative thinker who can identify unique local stories and turn them into compelling visuals. Confident communicator with an engaging personality. Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
