Role Overview
We are seeking a
Head of Video Content Strategy
to lead ARULA's video-first content efforts across
YouTube, Instagram, and ARULA's Learning Hub
. This is both a
strategic and execution-heavy role
, requiring strong direction, storytelling, and editing skills to create
world-class video content
that educates, inspires, and drives growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Content Strategy
Define and execute ARULA's video strategy across global platforms.
Build a strong video-first content calendar spanning short-form (Reels, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube, webinars, tutorials).
Ensure content aligns with ARULA's mission and audience engagement goals.
2. Production & Direction
Lead shoots with Ms Mayuri Ramdasi, therapists, parents, and ARULA team members.
Direct storytelling, framing, and delivery for high-quality video output.
Guide presenters to deliver impactful and authentic on-camera content.
3. Editing & Creative Execution
Shoot & Edit long-form and short-form videos tailored for YouTube, Instagram, and ARULA's Learning Hub.
Repurpose raw content into
ads, snippets, and campaign-specific creatives
.
Maintain high production standards while ensuring quick turnaround.
4. Collaboration & Innovation
Work closely with marketing and digital teams to create ad-optimized video assets.
Innovate with new formats, hooks, and styles to keep content globally competitive.
Adapt content for regional and global audiences.
Requirements
1+ years of proven experience in
video content creation and strategy
.
Strong proficiency in
CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro
.
Portfolio demonstrating
both long-form (YouTube, tutorials, webinars)
and
short-form (Reels, Shorts, ads)
content.
Strong storytelling ability and creative vision for video production.
English fluency is a must (spoken + written).
Prior experience in ed-tech, health-tech, or therapy-driven content (preferred).
Ability to balance
creative excellence with marketing objectives
.
