Liaise with Prospective Clients and establish strong rapport leading up to a demo.
Post the demo, ensure repeat contacts & closure.
Establish long-lasting relationships that ultimately result in business.
Primary contact person with the client.
Analyse clients' needs as they emerge, and initiate discussions on how to embellish them.
Brief internal teams on the fulfilment of these needs.
Responsible for meeting deadlines and for faithfully keeping schedules both internally and externally.
Keep abreast of key trends in Client categories and share with internal teams.
Qualifications
MBA in Marketing from a reputed institution
10-12 years' of experience in Business Development talking to senior Marketing & Sales professionals in B2C Companies
Strong domain knowledge in at least two/three B2C categories (e.g. FMCG, Building Materials, Consumer Durables, BFSI) is mandatory, ideally in a Consulting Co.
Alternatively, should have had experience in selling Broadcast Media and/ or Advertising and related marketing services, to B2C Cos.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills - spoken Hind skill is a must
Should ideally have done a 4/5 yrs stint in the Hindi belt (NCR/ UP/MP/Mah/Rajasthan)

Strong sense of self-belief and belief in the product/s.
