Job Summary:
The Vice Principal supports the Principal in managing the daily operations of the school. This role focuses on maintaining discipline, supporting teachers and students, ensuring a safe learning environment, and helping implement academic and administrative policies.
Key Responsibilities:Student Management
Enforce school rules and discipline policies
Address student behavior issues and conflicts
Support student attendance and punctuality
Promote a positive and respectful school culture
Academic Support
Assist in supervising curriculum implementation
Support teachers with instructional strategies and classroom management
Help monitor student academic progress
Participate in school improvement planning
Staff Support
Assist in supervising teachers and support staff
Participate in teacher evaluations and professional development
Help organize staff meetings and training sessions
Administration & Operations
Assist with scheduling classes, exams, and school activities
Help manage school records and reports
Support safety drills and emergency procedures
Ensure compliance with school policies and regulations
Parent & Community Relations
Communicate with parents regarding student performance and behavior
Participate in parent meetings and school events
Support community partnerships and school programs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field
Teaching certification and administrative license (as required)
Previous teaching or leadership experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage conflict and lead effectively
