Job Summary

The Vice Principal will support the Principal in the overall leadership, administration, and academic excellence of the school. The role involves overseeing teaching standards, student discipline, staff coordination, and smooth day-to-day operations while promoting the school's vision and values.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership

Support the Principal in planning and implementing the academic curriculum Monitor teaching quality and classroom practices Ensure lesson planning, assessments, and evaluations meet school standards Guide teachers in improving instructional methods
Administration & Management

Assist in managing daily school operations Prepare academic schedules, timetables, and duty rosters Ensure compliance with school policies and education board guidelines Handle documentation, reports, and records as required
Staff Management

Support recruitment, induction, and training of teaching staff Mentor teachers and conduct classroom observations Encourage teamwork and professional development
Student Management

Maintain discipline and a positive school culture Address student behavioral and academic concerns Support student welfare, safety, and well-being
Parent & Community Relations

Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic and disciplinary matters Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events Represent the school when required
Qualifications & Experience

Master's degree / B.Ed. (mandatory) Minimum

5-8 years of teaching experience

, with leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum (as applicable)

Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to motivate staff and students Proficiency in school management systems and basic IT tools
