Assist the Principal in developing and implementing school policies and procedures.
Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling, attendance, and facilities management.
Manage emergency procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Enforce the school's code of conduct and manage student behavior issues.
Investigate disciplinary incidents and apply appropriate consequences.
Promote a positive and inclusive school climate that supports student well-being.
Support curriculum planning and classroom instruction alongside department heads.
Monitor student performance and support interventions to improve outcomes.
Encourage innovative teaching practices and use of technology in education.
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating teachers and support staff.
Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
Promote professional development opportunities and teacher collaboration.
Communicate with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and events.
Represent the school at community meetings, events, and district functions.
Build partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders.
Participate in the development of the School Improvement Plan.
Analyze school data (academic, behavioral, attendance) to inform decision-making.
Help implement strategies that promote equity, inclusion, and excellence.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Education (Master's preferred)
o 5+ years of teaching experience; leadership experience preferred
o Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
o Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
