VP/Director/MD - Investment Banking (Consumer/Healthcare/Pharma)

A mid market investment bank is looking to hire a senior investment banker.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Advisory: Provide comprehensive financial advisory services to clients, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, corporate restructuring, and strategic transactions. Offer strategic insights, perform financial analysis, and develop innovative solutions to address client needs.

- Deal Execution: Lead the end-to-end deal execution process, including transaction origination, due diligence, valuation analysis, financial modeling, negotiation, and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure successful transaction completion.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including corporations, financial institutions, private equity firms, and government entities. Act as a trusted advisor, understand client objectives, and provide tailored solutions that align with their strategic goals.

- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate leads, and participate in business development activities. Expand the client base and maintain an active network of industry contacts to generate new deal flow and revenue streams.

- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Lead deal teams, allocate responsibilities, and ensure effective coordination to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

- Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated with market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments that may impact clients. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to provide insights on market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and industry benchmarks.

- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with transactions and client relationships.

- Presentation and Communication: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, pitch materials, and transaction-related documentation to clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Effectively communicate complex financial concepts and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is often preferred.

- Extensive experience in investment banking, financial advisory, or a related field, with a strong track record of executing complex transactions.

- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment banking products, valuation techniques, and regulatory frameworks.

- Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong business acumen and understanding of industry dynamics, trends, and competitive landscapes.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Sound judgment, integrity, and high ethical standards in handling confidential information and client relationships.

- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, valuation software, and Microsoft Office suite.
