We are an early-stage startup developing an AI-powered investor-founder matching platform. Our mission is to make startup fundraising more intelligent, personalized, and efficient. We are looking for a technology leader to take ownership of the product architecture, AI engine, and team building to scale post-funding.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Ownership
Define and lead the technology roadmap aligned with product vision and business goals
Drive architectural decisions for scalability, performance, and security
Build and manage a high-performing tech team over time
Product Development
Hands-on full-stack development including frontend, backend, APIs, and databases
Translate business needs into functional, reliable, and scalable software
Drive the development of core AI/ML-based recommendation systems
Cloud and DevOps
Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Ensure monitoring, logging, and system reliability
Security and Architecture
Design secure systems following best practices and compliance requirements
Create scalable and modular architecture for future growth
Leadership and Collaboration
Collaborate with product, business, and design teams
Manage agile delivery and sprint execution
Mentor junior developers and scale the team as needed
Requirements
Minimum 9 years of experience in software engineering
Hands-on experience in full-stack development (React/Angular, Node.js/Python/Java, SQL/NoSQL)
Experience building and scaling B2B or B2C tech products
Demonstrated ability to lead development from scratch
Deep understanding of AI/ML systems and matching algorithms
Experience in DevOps practices including containerization and cloud deployment
Familiar with data privacy and platform security best practices
Team-building and leadership experience in startup or fast-paced environments
Nice to Have
Prior experience in platforms related to fundraising, fintech, or deal sourcing
Familiarity with tools like Carta, Slack, Notion, Segment, Amplitude, or PostHog
Experience working with CRM systems or matchmaking tools
Conditions
Role is unpaid until the first successful fundraise upto 4 months
Full-time commitment is required
Willingness to relocate to Bangalore post-funding is mandatory
