Business FunctionFinance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.Job PurposeThe position ensures: Business partnership and MIS for Treasury BusinessProduct control activities for Finance and supporting the business.Key AccountabilitiesMIS activities : Active engagement with T&M Business and partnering with. Ad hoc analysis of business performance along with drivers Working on forecast & budget submissions to management Submission of Weekly Sales Analytics Finalisation of Projections for monthly Flash Updating & oversight over Hyperion based and various other dashboards. Submission of commentaries & handling Ad hoc Queries from Business & HO. Submission of data for ALCO Deck, IMC, etcProduct Control activities : PL YTD Recon for T&M from ORP, including daily monitoring of SCFs & MJEs Posting of month end entries & GLAO Reconciliation Interaction with auditors (statutory, concurrent, internal) and RBI inspection team Closely working with other Finance desks for Treasury products, overseeing FEDAI & Mifor Valuation adjustments for local desk KRI Submission to HO (non GLAO and MJE parts) Handling of revenue sharing adjustments Data sharing with affiliates. Review new product approvals and cost benefit analysis of the same Off market checks, tax benchmarking of affiliate transactions.Requirements Minimum 12 -13 Years post-qualification experience in Treasury reporting, Product Control or Biz Finance Have an understanding of Banking Operations and undertaken MIS, projects, control and governance related tasks. Exposure in stakeholder management including Senior Management Data presentation and communication skills Delivery with quick turn around time Thorough working knowledge of MS-Excel Relationship BuildingEducation / Preferred Qualifications Chartered Accountant or MBACore Competencies Good knowledge of accounting systems in financial institutions Understanding of Treasury and Markets business and Accounting Analytical mindset Control mindset Business PartnershipTechnical Competencies Exposure in Banking sector with an understanding of Treasury Very good communication and influencing skills Ability to think out of the box High proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in specific) Exposure on Dashboarding tools like Qlikview, Power BI or Tableau Market IntelligenceWork Relationship Team player and at the same time able to independently manage his own tasks Proactive, accurate, accountable with strong problem-solving skills Strong Working relationship with all units including within Finance and Regional counterparts Close partnership with stakeholders in new initiatives
