Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President - Sales to lead and expand our solar energy sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving large-scale B2B and B2C sales, building high-performing sales teams, and developing long-term customer relationships in the solar industry. Based in Jaipur, this leadership role requires a visionary professional who can execute growth strategies, forge strategic alliances, and drive revenue growth in Rajasthan and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in line with company objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional and national sales professionals.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, government bodies, corporate clients, and key stakeholders.
Oversee the entire sales lifecycle -- from lead generation to contract closure and after-sales support.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales tactics and offerings.
Coordinate with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and renewable energy policies.
Prepare detailed sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for the leadership team.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive sales experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of solar technologies, regulatory frameworks, and subsidy mechanisms in India.
Willingness to travel as required across regions.

Preferred Skills:
Network of existing clients and industry contacts in Rajasthan and North India.
Experience with PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) and BOOT models.
Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking capability.
