Job Title: Vice President - Sales

Job Summary:

The Vice President - Sales is responsible for leading and developing the strategic sales direction of the hotel or hotel group. This role ensures the achievement of revenue targets through effective sales strategies, market positioning, client relationship management, and team leadership. The VP Sales will oversee all hotel sales functions, including corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), leisure, and group sales, driving top-line performance across all properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership:

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals across all market segments.

- Collaborate with executive leadership on brand positioning and revenue growth strategies.

- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.

Revenue Generation:

- Lead national and international sales efforts to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).

- Establish performance metrics and monitor sales KPIs (e.g., RevPAR, GOP, conversion rates).

- Identify and develop strategic partnerships, alliances, and key accounts.

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage regional and property-level sales teams.

- Conduct regular training and development programs to upskill the sales force.

- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and client-centricity.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and key partners.

- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand and expand the customer base.

- Manage VIP and high-value client negotiations and contract closures.

Collaboration & Reporting:

- Work closely with the marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to ensure cohesive strategies.

- Report regularly to the executive team on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.

- Ensure compliance with brand standards and corporate policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

- Minimum 12-15 years of progressive hotel sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Strong understanding of hospitality sales, distribution channels, and global travel markets.

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a multi-property or regional hotel environment.

- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Proficient in CRM systems, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
