JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities for vessel presently stationed at Kandla / Gogha / Vadinar /

Tuticorin / Puducherry/Vizag / paradeep /

TOTAL - 37 VESSELS + MORE UNDER PROCUREMENT / CONSTRUCTION

Ensure the Safety Management System (SMS) is implemented,

maintained, and followed on board

Monitor safety and pollution-prevention aspects of vessel operations

Ensure adequate resources and shore-based support are provided to vessels

Verify compliance with MS Act, DG Shipping circulars, ISM Code, and local

port regulations

Monitor and follow up on

:

Accidents, near misses, and non-conformities

Corrective and preventive actions

Arrange, review & liaise with surveyors during survey:

Flag State/Mercantile Marine Department (MMD)

Port State authorities

Classification societies (if applicable)

Maintain records related to:

Incident reports

Statutory inspections / certificates / H&M insurance.

Surveys records for all vessel

Ensure crew are:

Properly certified

Familiar with emergency procedures

Ship Operations manages day-to-day vessel operations, ensuring

efficiency, compliance, and commercial performance.

Plan and supervise daily vessel operations (coastal/inland trade)

Ensure vessels operate within:

IV-class certification limits

Load line, stability

Voyage and operational planning:

Port calls

Dredging operations

Bunkering (if applicable)

Coordinate with:

Masters/Engineers

Charterers/clients

Port authorities and agents

Oversee:

Operational readiness of vessels

Ensure compliance with:

MS Act

Inland Vessels Act (if applicable)

Port rules and local navigation laws

Monitor:

Fuel consumption

Vessel performance

Coordinate maintenance and repairs in consultation with technical team

Prepare operational reports for management

Reporting Direct to top management

Coordinate with Project managers for regular updates regarding all the

ongoing projects.

Site visit atleast 10 days in a months for Monitoring the operations.

Arrange and coordinate with the check survey team for gauging the

dredged channel.

Following up monthly bills with all the project managers for submission.

FO arrangements.

Pay: ?1,500,000.00 - ?2,500,000.00 per year
