Business Descriptor HSBC CFIBC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vice President for our Advisory business in India. Primary responsibility include execution of M&A advisory and private capital raising transactions. This person will be the fulcrum of the team, assisting the senior investment bankers in their coverage of clients and sectors, while leading the junior investment bankers in idea generation, pitching and execution. Principal Responsibilities Deal Execution Responsibilities Lead day to day execution of a variety of transactions from pitching to transaction execution and closing. Assist Directors and Managing Directors in the day-to-day aspects of client relationships, transactions, and investment banking teams Manage the staffing of the junior investment banking team across different projects Provide leadership, professional development and mentoring for junior team This is a sector agnostic role, but the individual will be expected to develop some sector concentration / experience in 2- 3 sectors over time Requirements Knowledge andExperience Minimum of 7-9 years of experience, focused on M&A. Proven track record of closed investment banking transactions Strong transaction execution experience across both buy-side and sell-side transactions Demonstrated ability to play a pivotal role in day-to-day execution of transactions Ability to manage and train junior investment bankers in the team Must show the ability to be able to become responsible for client and/or sector coverage within a short period of time Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with the ability to think creatively Useful Link Link to Careers Site: Click You\'ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
