Job Description


:The goal of the Location Business Resiliency Team is to ensure business resiliency oversight for the locations. Business resiliency focuses on ensuring key business processes, systems and support functions in the event of disruptive events. The role will provide oversight, governance and reporting of the location level implementation of the BRUP program, by way of updates to Location senior leadership and global/regional partners and stakeholders. The role involves working closely with Firmwide Business Resiliency (FBR), Lob Resiliency teams to ensure adequate governance is in place, working with the CAO and other Corporate Functions such as Global Security, Global Real Estate, GTI, to ensure location level preparedness. This role in partnership with Global Security is responsible for coordinating crises response during any crises, incidents, or any other threats that may impact continuity of operations in India.The VP will be responsible for key deliverables relating to running of the business resiliency program for India GCC and India Branch and Philippines Branch. He or she will be an integral part of the India & Philippines CAO team. This role is responsible for ensuring the Resiliency agenda is run consistently and effectively for the above mentioned entities in partnership with the LoB/Corporate Functions Resiliency teams and CAO team. The role involves working closely with LoB Resiliency teams to ensure adequate governance is in place, working with the CAO and other Corporate Functions such as Global Security, Global Real Estate etc to ensure that the location level preparedness. This role in partnership with Global Security and Crisis Management is responsible for coordinating during any incidents, outages or any other threats that may impact continuity of operations in the Philippines.Key Responsibilities:

  • Running a robust resiliency agenda in line with the firm\'s Business Resiliency Policy and Standards
  • Stakeholder management including Location leaders, LoBs, Corporate Functions and Support groups
  • Act in an advisory capacity for LoBs and Corporate Functions, as well as location leadership with respect to the policy and standards, programs, resiliency tools and metrics
  • Governance through publishing and monitoring of metrics and ensuring adequate follow ups and due diligence on any non-adherence
  • Co-ordinating efforts during a crisis or incident, by being a centre point between LoBs, Corporate Functions and Support groups for the locations
  • Co-ordinate and support Regulatory queries and requirement from a Business Resiliency standpoint
  • Provide inputs or front end Regulatory requirements from a Resiliency/BCP view point
Required skills and capabilities:
  • Strong working knowledge of Resiliency and Business Continuity
  • Excellent partnership skills and stakeholder management abilities. The incumbent should be able to work and influence across diverse teams locally and globally
  • Ability to manage calmly during high pressure and crisis/incidents
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization set up
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, Data analytics, Alteryx and Tableau will be added advantage
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities. The incumbent should demonstrate thought leadership.
Professional skills and capabilities
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the Resiliency/BCP or related domain, with an overall experience of minimum 12 years. The last few years should have been in a independent, manager capacity overseeing Resiliency for a business unit, location or a small to mid-sized firm.
  • Familiarity with industry resiliency models, BIAs, Resiliency tools and plan structure
  • Industry certifications will be an advantage but not mandatory
