Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Creative Lead to join our global creative team of graphic designers and desktop publishers based in Gurugram. You will oversee creative projects, lead the team and have a passion for design. You\'ll engage with global clients to understand their needs, translate briefs into creative concepts and build relationships with multiple stakeholders. As a member of a dynamic and multi-disciplined global team, you will also collaborate with regional design leads to develop innovative concepts and high-quality creative solutions. You will be up to date with current creative trends, champion our brand, have strong communication skills, as well as influence and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes. You\'ll have proficient experience in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office applications and be the go-to person for resolving any queries or challenges faced by team members or clients. You\'ll have an exceptional eye for detail, strong understanding of design fundamentals, strong organisation and time management skills. In this role you will be responsible for bringing inspiration and motivation to the team, fostering a creative community, guiding the team on industry best practice and driving design excellence. About you This role is in a fast-paced environment where you will collaborate with business stakeholders globally on approach, design and delivery. You\'ll lead this high performing, award winning team, encouraging innovation and ensuring high-quality outputs. Requiring strong leadership skills, you will have relevant experience of 14+ years managing and leading creative teams in a global professional services firm. Importantly you are organised and have a focused work ethic and client-centric outlook. This is an integral role that will see you showcase, role-model and grow your skills across multiple disciplines in a global organisation. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the regional creative team of design and desktop publishing experts, overseeing all brand and client experiences Maintain the Macquarie brand, design integrity and consistency across all brand experiences Manage key stakeholders, driving best-practice across all collateral Collaboration with business stakeholders in the approach, design, and delivery of all design deliverables Proactively identify and enable growth opportunities and operational efficiencies Managing multiple projects/work streams simultaneously, maintaining and driving quality standards, ensuring an exceptional client experience Lead team in times of pressure and act as the go-to person for resolving any queries, challenges faced by team members Help team members understand the broader picture of technical, ethical, and financial needs - having a customer focus and commercial mindset Interact with clients to determine objectives, budget, background information, approaches, styles and techniques Work closely with the other regional Design Leads to govern brand and design assets Define standards and processes and ensure they are shared and demonstrated across the creative community Demonstrate the value of team\'s work by keeping the client up-to-date and managing expectations Enable and foster the culture of knowledge sharing among team members. To be successful in this role, you will have: Prior relevant experience leading creative teams in a professional services firm Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design, or similar discipline Strong people leadership skills Technical expertise and in-depth understanding of design practices and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, After Effects) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate across all levels of the business Ability to manage stakeholder relationships within a dynamic global organisation Experience leading and driving quality enhancement across all creative Ability to bring design inspiration and thought leadership to the team and their design outputs Strong conceptual and design skills.
