Team Overview:

Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Data Improvement (DI) is a centralized function which serves to identify, assign, remediate and report Technical & Methodology related issues across CCR Exposures. The team partners with cross functional disciplines such as Technology, Control Management, and the Chief Data Office to drive the Issue Resolution Program forward. The team is also responsible for providing the Credit Risk Organization with visibility of material issues, with context, to aid in their day to day management of Counterparty Risk. The CCR DI team is a motivated, forward thinking team comprised of high-talent individuals with a focus on delivery. The CCR DI VP will be a trusted advisor to the senior CCR DI lead and other executives, playing a central role in driving the successful delivery of senior-level presentations and promoting best practices. Additionally, will support the team\'s focus on continuous improvement by spearheading efforts to identify and apply technology, tools, automation, etc. to reduce inefficiencies and increase productivity.

Typical projects will involve leveraging large data sets and the Firms Data Management Framework as we aim to identify and close issues and improve internal client experience to achieve timely, accurate and complete exposure results for consumption by Credit Risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes to aggregate large data sets and identify common themes for remediation.
  • Create and distribute daily / weekly materials for discussion with cross discipline Subject Matter Experts.
  • Share insights and observations with Credit leads
  • Synthesize key insights and overall management summary into concise presentations for executive level audience, including Head of Wholesale Credit Risk
  • Promote consistent approach to data quality investigation, reporting and communications to impacted stakeholders
  • Work closely with the organization\'s senior management to develop a best in class Data Improvement Framework.
  • Develop junior team members through day to day managerial responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of professional experience related to financial services and risk management and Product ownership, management consulting or business process improvement a plus
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills; data visualization skills a plus along with clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to problem solve, collaborate and build strong partnerships.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior-level executives
  • Outstanding ability to work well across functional teams, analyze problems, and apply quantitative analytical methods.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets & use tools and methods for successful quality control.
