Vice President - AI Gigafactory Operations & Margin Excellence leader



In this role,

you'll

be part of Genpact's transformation under

GenpactNext

, as we lead the shift to AI Gigafactory --to accelerate AI adoption in the customer enterprises

.

We are

seeking

a strategic and execution-oriented VP/ SVP to lead the end-to-end operations of

AI

Gigafactory model. This leader will own operational performance, drive margin improvement across all engagements, and steer cross-vertical synergies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The role requires strong commercial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of delivery economics across global operations



Responsibilities



Operational Leadership:



Lead the overall operations of the Gigafactory, ensuring excellence in delivery across all programs.





Drive standardization, scalability, and agility across delivery models.





Collaborate with global delivery leads and vertical heads to align operational goals with business outcomes.







2. Margin Management:





Build and own a framework for margin improvement across all engagements in the Gigafactory.





Drive cost efficiency, pricing levers, pyramid optimization, and productivity initiatives.





Regularly review and course-correct underperforming engagements in collaboration with vertical P&L owners.





Strategic Delivery & Growth Enablement:





Partner with sales and transformation teams to design delivery models aligned with client expectations and commercial targets.





Innovate and institutionalize future-ready delivery solutions with a focus on digital, automation, and

GenAI

integration.



Ensure

optimal

utilization

of talent and infrastructure for

maximum ROI.



Stakeholder Management:





Act as a key interface between delivery, finance, transformation, and vertical leadership.





Present performance dashboards and strategic interventions

to

executive leadership.



Lead cross-functional reviews to ensure alignment of operational KPIs and strategic priorities.




Factory Industrialization & Standardization

Design and execute onboarding frameworks to operationalize new projects within the AI Gigafactory.


Define scalable delivery playbooks, reusable frameworks, and standard operating procedures.


Enable rapid project industrialization while

maintaining

quality, compliance, and delivery velocity.


Institutionalize shared services (e.g., QA, automation, release, support) and central governance to maximize efficiency.


Financial Ownership & P&L Understanding

Monitor,

analyze

, and drive improvements in

projects level, industry verticals and factory-level gross margin

.


Work with finance, delivery, and resourcing teams to align team structures with cost and revenue models.


Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.


Identify

margin leakage and implement corrective actions proactively (e.g., automation, better pyramid, change controls).


Understand and interpret P&L reports to support business decisions and scaling strategies.


Productivity Measurement & Improvement

Define and track

productivity metrics

(e.g., story points per FTE, ticket resolution rates, defects per sprint).


Benchmark current performance and drive continuous improvements through automation, tools, and best practices.


Design dashboards and reports to enable transparency into delivery health, cost efficiency, and output quality.

Operate and

optimize

a

multi-project, multi-account delivery environment

using a shared factory setup.


Drive governance and delivery assurance across diverse programs with varying scopes, SLAs, and technologies.


Maintain a delivery rhythm through structured cadences, dashboards, and stakeholder communications.



Qualifications we

seek

in you!



Minimum Qualifications




Bachelor's

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering; MBA or operations/finance certification preferred.




experience in global operations management within the IT/BPM industry, with proven success in margin expansion and large-scale delivery transformation.




Proven

experience in

managing factory-style or shared delivery models

with multiple concurrent projects.




Prior experience in leading factory models or horizontal delivery organizations across geographies




Deep understanding of P&L levers, operational metrics, and digital transformation enablers.




Strong grasp of delivery financials, P&L ownership, and margin optimization.




Exceptional executive presence, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.




Exposure to multiple industry verticals and ability to

operate

in matrixed structures.


Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategy.




Expertise

in agile, DevOps, ITSM, and hybrid delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills




Familiarity

with data engineering, managed services, or platform modernization projects.




Hands

-on experience with cost

modeling

, rate card design, effort estimation, and financial tracking tools.




Exposure

to automation and analytics for delivery operations.




Lean

Six Sigma or similar process excellence certifications.




MBA from a reputed institution is preferred
