VE_Shouldcost_Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Project management of VE projects. Execute projects with Cost reduction of $1.5M or more annually. Conduct VE workshops with Engineering teams/functions and suppliers. Drive Technical and Financial feasibility of cost reduction ideas. Collaborate with supply chain functions and global teams for horizontal deployment of solutions. Deploy analytical solutions to identify the right cost reduction opportunities. Generating Project reports for leadership review. Liaison and collaborate with different functions for the above responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Around 10+ years of Industry and proven experience is required. Prior experience in Value Engineering domain is desirable.

Knowledge and Experience:

Hands on experience on Program management and tools. Working experience in Should costing Very good knowledge on Manufacturing process Experience in leading complex projects with cross functional team. Ability to do Cost analysis using manufacturing knowledge. Engineering drawing interpretation knowledge. Ability to identify and deploy process improvements. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating environments. Fluent in Microsoft office suit Team player. Should have relevant industry experience of managing projects.
