The role, at a glance:

The Vertical Sales Manager - Large Venue is a sales position that relies on technical expertise to engage with the end user, consultants and AV integrators for products/technology we supply.

It is a sales role that requires very strong technical knowledge, representing Biamp Systems with market leading products in the Audio and Video industry in our key vertical markets; Corporate, Large Venue, Hospitality and Retail solutions. The ideal candidate will showcase excellent team working skills in supporting the Regional Sales Managers with subject matter expertise in the Large Venue vertical market.

How you\'ll contribute:

  • Managing all elements of the business relationship between Biamp and integrators in the region, consultants, end user, distributors up to the point where the product is ordered.
  • Generating leads in the market by initiating and maintaining relationships with large government agencies, architect/PMC communities, turnkey contractors, etc.
  • Qualifying incoming leads and creating proposals, quotations and technical solutions to meet their needs.
  • Training and selling to integrators on all aspects of Biamp\xe2\x80\x99s full system offering, including Corporate, Large Venue, Transportation, Hospitality and Retail solutions.
  • Explaining and demonstrating the technological aspects of the products being marketed. Training in the field integrators, consultants, and end-users on all aspects of Biamp\xe2\x80\x99s equipment, the equipment\'s functions and uses, placing special emphasis on our Loudspeaker platform.
  • Staffing trade show booths where appropriate.
You\'ll also support with:
  • Giving technical presentations to any level of attendee.
  • Making layouts and drawings in CAD/EASE and similar programs.
  • Building designs based on RFP/ DBR.
  • Managing demonstrations, product shoot outs or POC\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Other duties as assigned.
A successful candidate should have:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a technical field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related position, or commensurate experience and/or education.
  • Proven track record as a team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A demonstrable customer focused attitude with a passion to exceed client expectations and going the extra mile.
  • Experience in designing and commissioning large venue speaker systems depending on STI and acoustic parameters.
  • Extensive experience and understanding building guidelines for emergency evacuation systems.
  • Experience in the professional audio video industry\'s bidding process including government tenders, global contracts, mega projects.
  • The capability to handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • The ability to build long-term relationships with Biamp\xe2\x80\x99s clients.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Strong self-motivation to allow efficient work in a location remote from the company\xe2\x80\x99s headquarters.
  • Advanced computer skills, including working knowledge of the MS Office Suite (including PowerPoint) and CAD programs.
Work environment:
  • This position is based in the India - the ideal candidate will be located in Bangalore or will have the ability to work remotely from Mumbai, Bangalore or Delhi.
  • Frequent travel: 30% - 50%
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. periodically.
  • Stand or sit for long periods.
