Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Vendor Manager

to join our EV manufacturing unit in Howrah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely procurement of materials, and maintaining quality and cost efficiency across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

Ensure suppliers meet quality, safety, and compliance standards as per company requirements.

Monitor vendor performance and resolve supply chain or quality issues promptly.

Coordinate with the production, quality, and finance teams for smooth operations.

Maintain updated records of vendor agreements, performance metrics, and purchase orders.

Assist in vendor audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Prepare reports and analysis on vendor performance, cost savings, and sourcing efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

2-4 years of experience in vendor management, preferably in the automotive or EV manufacturing industry.

Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and vendor compliance.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple vendor relationships efficiently.
