Business partner to build strong relationships with, and influence, internal stakeholders at all levels
(with a focus on the Index business globally, Finance and operational divisions).
Understand the use and needs for data across LGIM globally, including its integration into various
applications and workflows, for those vendors within the individuals portfolio
Source and support the management of data into LGIMs core systems.
Uncover new strategic sourcing opportunities through understanding the market landscape, demand
management, supplier consolidation and process efficiencies
Partner with internal teams to effect changes to licencing of market data and distribution in
accordance with the changing business demand, maximising the value of LGIMs agreements
Navigate forthcoming new and changes to regulations, ensuring LGIM is well positioned to meet
these challenges across its operations
Work collaboratively with other Vendor Management Team SMEs across key business areas and
activities to ensure seamless service to business stakeholders
Contractual Management
Review and negotiate new service contracts bringing operational and commercial expertise,
considering key business needs and opportunities for xe2x80x98futureproofing where appropriate
Work closely with internal and external Legal counsel to review contracts and ensure LGIM is licenced
to minimise risks and maximise value. Communicate limitations, obligations, and risks with the
business, documenting approvals from stakeholders
Maintain awareness of evolution of business use and proactively identify and work to mitigate risks
throughout the agreement life cycle
Monitor and manage renewals with awareness of key dates, business engagement and conclude
amendments or cancellations in line with business demands.
Competently understand key aspects of relevant agreements to be able to address business questions
efficiently, relying on Legal resource where necessary for support
Align management of any contractual changes in accordance with the framework defined by LGIM
Commercial Management
Continually evaluate requests for products/services - considering cost reduction, data quality
improvements and value for money
Actively bring forward saving ideas, solutions, and commercial risks, and contribute to the overall
budget process as an SME
Report and present data budget costs for relevant business divisions, highlighting their spend profile
and tracking against defined budget
Challenge the business on new data requirements, supporting raising of business cases and approvals
for out of budget spends on essential requirements
