Job Summary:



The Vendor Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating with vendors and suppliers in the footwear industry. The role involves ensuring timely sourcing, quality checks, price negotiations, order follow-ups, and maintaining smooth communication between vendors and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:



Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers for raw materials, components, and packaging. Negotiate terms, prices, timelines, and quality standards with vendors. Ensure timely placement of purchase orders and follow up on deliveries. Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery. Coordinate with the design, production, and quality teams for sampling, approvals, and bulk orders. Resolve supply chain issues, delays, or quality discrepancies with vendors. Maintain updated records of vendor contracts, agreements, and performance reports. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing, and industry standards. Assist in cost optimization and inventory control through effective vendor management. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of sourcing, procurement, and vendor management in the footwear industry. Good understanding of raw materials such as leather, synthetics, fabrics, soles, adhesives, etc. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage deadlines. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and vendor management tools. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Footwear Technology or related field. 2-5 years of experience in vendor coordination, preferably in the footwear or apparel industry. Experience in vendor negotiations and supply chain coordination.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
