conducting vendor assessments
, evaluations and onboarding procedures. This role is critical to ensuring that our vendor partners meet our quality, compliance and cost expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct end-to-end vendor assessment including due diligence, documentation verification and capability evaluation.
Support the tendering process: float RFQs/RFPs, compare quotes and coordinate with vendors.
Evaluate vendor compliance with company standards, policies and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vendor information and assessment reports.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (procurement, legal, technical, and finance) during vendor onboarding.
Assist in periodic performance reviews and audits of vendors.
Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies in vendor partnerships.
Stay updated with market trends and help in identifying new, reliable suppliers.
Requirements:
Graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement tools (ERP system is a plus).
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in vendor audits or compliance reviews.
Exposure to ISO standards or similar quality management systems.
Basic understanding of legal terms and procurement contracts.
