Job Summary:

The ATS Centre Head will oversee the operations of our Automobile Testing Station (ATS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, extensive experience in vehicle inspection, manufacturing, or repair, and thorough knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the ATS centre, ensuring efficiency and compliance with standards. Oversee vehicle inspections, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. Lead and supervise a team of technicians and staff, providing guidance and support. Maintain thorough knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and related rules, ensuring all procedures comply. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the ATS centre, identifying areas for improvement. Liaise with regulatory authorities, customers, and other stakeholders. Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and operations. Ensure the ATS centre is equipped with the necessary tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines. At least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in vehicle inspection, manufacturing, or repair is preferred. Thorough knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and related rules. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for vehicle inspection. Desired experience- Automobile workshop/bodyshop manager or experience in OEM assembly line at supervisor level

Preferred Skills:

Experience in managing an automobile testing station or similar facility. Ability to analyse data and generate reports. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to handle team and customers towards smooth transaction with ATS centre.
