We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

EV Vehicle Technician

to join our team. The EV Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires knowledge of high-voltage systems, battery technology, and the latest advancements in electric vehicle technologies.

Key Responsibilities:



Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on electric vehicles (EVs), including electric motors, batteries, inverters, and charging systems. Inspect and service high-voltage components, electrical wiring, and safety systems. Perform software updates and calibrations using diagnostic tools and OEM-specific equipment. Conduct routine service and maintenance checks as per manufacturer guidelines. Identify and troubleshoot faults in electric drivetrains and electrical systems. Ensure all repairs and services meet safety and quality standards. Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used. Work collaboratively with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex vehicle issues. Stay updated on the latest EV technologies and participate in ongoing training and certifications. Adhere to safety protocols, especially when working with high-voltage systems.

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in automotive or electrical systems preferred. Certification in EV systems or automotive technology (e.g., ASE, EV-specific certifications) is a strong advantage. Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, with at least 1 year focused on EVs preferred. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and computer-based diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of high-voltage safety and electric drive systems. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and service manuals. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills:



Experience working with major EV brands (e.g., Tesla, Rivian, Nissan, Ford, etc.). Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS) and thermal management. Knowledge of hybrid systems (HEV, PHEV) is a plus. Strong customer service and communication skills.

Work Environment:



Workshop/garage environment with exposure to tools, machinery, and electrical systems. Safety gear and precautions are mandatory when handling high-voltage equipment. May require occasional lifting, bending, or working in confined spaces.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
