Vehicles Manager
to oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, documentation, and related procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily management of all company vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
Plan, schedule, and monitor routine service, repairs, and inspections.
Coordinate with vehicle workshops, mechanics, and service centers.
Identify maintenance needs, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure timely repairs.
Manage procurement of spare parts, tyres, lubricants, batteries, and other vehicle-related items.
Maintain proper records of service history, fuel consumption, spare parts usage, and repair logs.
Verify incoming spare parts, service quality, and compliance with technical specifications.
Develop and maintain vendor relationships with vehicle service providers, spare parts suppliers, and rental agencies.
Negotiate rates with vendors and ensure cost-efficient vehicle maintenance.
Ensure all vehicles comply with RTO regulations, insurance, and documentation.
Coordinate with project sites for vehicle allocation, breakdown response, and emergency repairs.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements
ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
.
3-10 years of experience in
vehicle maintenance, mechanical works, automobile service, or similar roles
.
Strong knowledge of
electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and construction vehicle operations
.
Practical understanding of heavy vehicles, commercial vehicles, and construction machinery (preferred).
Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills with vendors and workshop teams.
Ability to source and procure vehicle-related materials efficiently.
Basic knowledge of Excel, WhatsApp reporting, and digital documentation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Mechanically strong with hands-on experience.
Reliable, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple vehicles and workshops.
Cost-conscious and skilled in vendor negotiation.
Ability to work independently and handle field visits when required.
