Key Responsibilities1. Vehicle Management
Oversee the condition, cleanliness, and functionality of all company vehicles to ensure they remain operationally sound.
Act as the custodian of the company fleet, ensuring safety, security, and proper handling of vehicles.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections to identify issues, damages, or maintenance needs.
2. Mileage & Fuel Efficiency
Monitor mileage and ensure vehicles operate at optimal fuel efficiency.
Track fuel consumption and implement corrective measures to improve efficiency.
3. Documentation Management
Maintain updated records of all vehicle-related documents such as tax receipts, insurance, permits, and pollution certificates.
Safely organize and manage drivers' personal documentation.
4. Repairs & Maintenance
Coordinate and supervise repair and servicing activities to ensure timely completion and quality output.
Track vehicle repair progress and maintain service logs.
Schedule monthly wheel alignment for all company vehicles.
Arrange weekly and monthly vehicle washing, including underbody cleaning.
Perform daily checks of oil levels, water levels, and other critical parameters.
5. Driver Coordination
Conduct driving assessments for new driver recruits to ensure competence and adherence to standards.
Ensure drivers maintain vehicle cleanliness by monitoring regular photo updates in the designated WhatsApp group.
6. Branch-Level Vehicle Oversight
Conduct weekly branch visits to inspect and maintain vehicles located at those sites.
7. Accident Management
Attend and respond promptly to any vehicle accidents.
Handle communication, documentation, and required legal or company procedures associated with accidents.
8. Compliance & Safety
Ensure all vehicles are equipped with required safety tools and operational equipment.
Regularly inspect and verify compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
9. Reporting
Prepare and submit daily vehicle inspection and maintenance reports to the Fleet Manager as per the prescribed format.
Compile and present comprehensive monthly reports during review meetings.
10. Vehicle Cleaning & Hygiene
Oversee weekly and monthly cleaning schedules, ensuring thorough washing, cleaning, and overall hygiene of the fleet.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in vehicle maintenance, logistics coordination, or fleet supervision (preferred).
Strong knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures and maintenance requirements.
Ability to manage documentation accurately and efficiently.
Good communication and driver coordination skills.
Ability to travel to branches as required.
Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and organization.
