Position Overview:
We are seeking a Solutions Architect with a minimum of 8 years of experience in this role specifically with knowledge and a minimum of 5 years experience specifically using the Veeva platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing campaigns for pharma/biotech clients. This role will report to the VP of Engineering.

The Role
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver architecture, development, and deployment of multiple full-stack, enterprise applications, integrating Veevas solutions to ensure performance.

Solution Design & Architecture:

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to design technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Develop and present high-level architecture diagrams and detailed designs for systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical constraints.
• Recommend best practices for technology selection, platform integration, and scalability.

Technical Leadership:

• Lead technical discussions with clients, explaining complex technical concepts in clear, understandable terms.
• Oversee the technical implementation of solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural designs and standards.
• Serve as a mentor to developers and junior architects, providing guidance and feedback.

Stakeholder Management:

• Engage with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and ensure the solutions meet functional, technical, and budgetary requirements.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical solutions.

Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy:

• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and security.
• Define and guide the adoption of cloud infrastructure, microservices, and containerization strategies.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:

• Provide expert-level support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the solution development and implementation stages.
• Perform system audits to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation for system architecture, design specifications, and deployment strategies.
• Regularly report on project status, risks, and progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Ideal Profile
Prerequisites:

• We value experience with pharmaceutical or biotech companies, marketing agencies, creative agencies.
• Must have proficient experience with the Veeva software platform.
• Ability to read existing code, suggest improvement, and do reverse engineering.
• A nice to have would be someone in Veeva technical pre-sales.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Masters degree preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in solutions architecture, software development, or related technical roles.
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, enterprise applications, or large-scale distributed systems.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure or GCP) and related services.
• Nice to have: Proficiency in system design, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
• Competency in Veeva is a must.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL), API design, and integration protocols (REST, SOAP).
• Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and enterprise infrastructure.

Certifications (Preferred but not required, 1 or more):

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
