Job Description

We are looking for a

VB.NET Developer

with solid experience in the

.NET Framework

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least

2 years of professional development experience

and be comfortable working in both new and legacy codebases. Exposure to

.NET Core

is a strong plus and shows your eagerness to evolve with the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using

VB.NET

on the

.NET Framework

Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices Assist in migration projects from legacy .NET systems to newer architectures (.NET Core or higher) Document technical processes and solutions

Required Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on development experience with

VB.NET

and

.NET Framework

Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and database design Ability to work with legacy codebases and refactor when needed Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

.NET Core

Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, or WinForms Experience with version control (Git, Azure DevOps, etc.) Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies Understanding of modern DevOps practices and CI/CD is a plus
