Job Description

Qualification Required: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI in relevant trade

:

Assemble, install, and test various types of valves according to specifications and quality standards.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions accurately.

Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of valve components before and after assembly.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments efficiently during assembly.

Perform adjustments and calibrations to ensure valves meet functional and safety requirements.

Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assembly workstation.

Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Document assembly processes and report any deviations or defects.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to valve assembly processes.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of mechanical components, valve types, and assembly techniques.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.

Skilled in using hand and power tools associated with valve assembly.

Knowledge of quality inspection procedures and testing methods.

Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical assemblies.

Team player with good communication skills.

Ability to work under supervision and meet production deadlines.

Experience:

Preferably 1-2 years of experience in valve assembly or a related mechanical assembly role.

Familiarity with industrial valve types such as gate valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, etc., is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical activity related to assembly work.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
