A valet driver is responsible for parking and retrieving guests' vehicles safely and efficiently, typically at hotels, restaurants, events, hospitals, or other service establishments.
Key Responsibilities:
Politely welcome guests upon arrival.
Provide excellent customer service and a positive first impression.
Safely drive and park guest vehicles in designated parking areas.
Take note of vehicle details (make, model, license plate, any visible damage).
Promptly retrieve and return guest vehicles upon request.
Ensure the correct vehicle is returned to the correct guest.
Securely manage vehicle keys.
Maintain an organized key tracking or tagging system.
Follow all traffic and safety laws while driving.
Report any accidents, damages, or suspicious activity immediately.
Ensure all vehicles are locked and secure when parked.
Answer guest inquiries or direct them to the proper personnel.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Maintain accurate logs of vehicles parked and retrieved.
Document any incidents or issues related to vehicle handling.
Wear proper uniform and maintain a clean, neat appearance.
Uphold the image and standards of the employer or venue.
