Job Description

Position: STP Plant Operator

Shift: General Shift

Salary: up to ₹20,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

? Operate and monitor STP processes, including screening, aeration, sludge

handling, and disinfection.

? Maintain logbooks and records of operational parameters, flow rates, and

chemical dosages.

? Conduct routine checks on pumps, blowers, valves, and other equipment to

ensure smooth operation.

? Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs of STP equipment.

? Collect wastewater and treated water samples for analysis and report

deviations.

Qualifications & Skills:

? ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering

preferred.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in operating sewage treatment plants (STP)

or similar water treatment facilities.

? Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE usage, and environmental compliance

regulations.
