Job Title: Vacancy for English - HOD

Location: Avalon Heights International School Vashi, Navi Mumbai

Position Type: Full-Time

About Us: We are seeking enthusiastic HOD who is passionate about working and making a positive impact.

Role & Responsibilities:

Foster a cohesive and positively motivating environment that encourages students' emotional and academic growth.

Maintain classroom decorum and instill good habits in students to promote a well-rounded learning experience.

Organize and coordinate in-house activities and manage classroom and display boards, both inside and outside the classroom.

Provide regular feedback on student progress during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and maintain a follow-up schedule for each meeting with parents.

Planning and deliver the designed curriculum.

Monitoring the syllabus covered and the learning outcomes effectively.

Conducting internal departmental meetings, mentoring teachers & co-ordinators.

Possess a pleasant personality and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.

Preferably residing in or around Navi Mumbai for convenience and ease of commute.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Qualifications:

B. Ed mandatory plus a Master s Degree in respective fields from a recognized University
