Job Description

DBA Looking for an Individual contributor, experienced DBA to support Project & BAU activities. Responsibilities: Responsible to provide Database administration and support for projects & BAU. Good understanding in AWS and azure cloud networking and various services. Experience in managing Databases in Aws and Azure. Experience in migration of databases to cloud platforms. Experience in managing standby database management. Administration over DB Objects including Tables, Clusters, Views, Procedures etc. Good in Impact Analysis of DB Change / DB Design Change etc. Must have experience in Database tuning including I/O, Load Analysis, SQL Profiling etc Assist application team to troubleshoot application/database related issues. Manage and coordinate with vendors to provide database support for the customers. Create, document, and implement standards and/or complex modelling to monitor and enhance the capacity and performance of the database. Coordinating with customers and application project managers for database infrastructure implementation and setup as per application requirements. Responsible to plan, schedule, track and coordinate with project manager, application support for database system version upgrade and database server patches. Manage, design, and implement database backup and recovery procedure for database recovery. Implement monitoring for database backup. Assist application team to troubleshoot application/database related issues. Manage and coordinate with vendors to provide database support for the customers. Provide SIT, UAT and Production database application installation, setup and support. Requirements: Experience in Oracle, MSSQL & PostgreSQL database administration Expertise in Installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting Always on Availability Groups. Extensively worked on Active-Active and Active-Passive Clustering. Experience in database migrations from on premises to azure and AWS Experience in supporting high transaction OLTP Databases in Production Environments. Experience in Setting up reporting services. Expertise in Capacity Planning, Oracle, MSSQL Server & PostgreSQL installation, configuration and installation of Service Packs, Hotfixes for SQL Server. Expertise in Creating and Managing User Permissions, Logins and Configuring Security Per Organizational Standards. Expertise of Various Backups, Recovery Methods. Extensive Knowledge in Performance Tuning and analysing Locks and Deadlocks in DB Hands on Experience in Using DBA Native Tools Expertise in analysing Index Usage, Fragmentation and Reorganize/Rebuild Indexes, Update Statistics for Better Performance. Expertise in Analysis of Query Execution Plans for low-cost Execution Options and Providing Suggestions on the same. Experience in Database Consistency Checks using DBCC Utilities. Experience in Developing Basic Power Shell Scripts. Expertise in Disaster recovery planning and participated in disaster recovery drills. Work Experience: 4-6 years Education & certifications: BE/BTech/Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree Preferably having DBA & Cloud certifications Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to 1,800,000.00 per year Schedule:
