Job Responsibilities:




UX Research (50%)--Tactical & lightweight research





In this role, you will support product and design teams by conducting lightweight, tactical research to guide decisions.


Plan and run

surveys

,

usability tests

, and

concept evaluations

to gather timely user feedback on product features and experiences. Partner with designers and PMs to

identify low-effort research opportunities

that can clarify design direction. Translate findings into

clear, actionable insights

and deliverables (e.g., slides, quick summaries, etc.) that teams can act on immediately. Help teams make

evidence-based decisions

by embedding user feedback into product discussions and documentation. Maintain and iterate on

templates, research trackers, and playbooks

to help non-researchers run basic studies.

Research operations (50%)





In addition to research, you'll play a key role in scaling research impact and improving how research is done across the company:


Optimize research processes

: Identify friction points in current workflows and build scalable systems that enable faster, high-quality research.

Participant management

: Oversee participant recruitment while maintaining ethical compliance in participant engagement.

Tooling & automation

: Evaluate and manage research tools and identify opportunities to improve team efficiency.

Knowledge management

: Maintain and curate our research repository, ensuring that research insights are well-documented and easily discoverable.

Team Alignment:

Lead weekly team meetings and adapt research schedules to ensure alignment with team availability and priorities.

Company engagement of research insights

: Ensure that research insights are socialized and reused across teams.

Vendor and budget coordination

: Manage contracts and renewals for research tools.

Org-wide education

: Support a research culture by creating internal resources, such as guides and onboarding for researchers and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:




Bachelor's degree in

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Design, Anthropology, or a related field.

OR equivalent practical experience conducting UX research and managing research operations/logistics in a product or design team setting

3+ years

of experience in UX research operations, UX research, or a related role in a product or design team. Demonstrated ability to

conduct lightweight, tactical research

(e.g., usability tests, surveys, concept validation). Experience supporting product and design teams with

quick-turnaround findings

that inform short-term decisions. Experience with

research and user testing tools

.

2+ years

of experience

recruiting participants

, managing logistics, and handling consent and privacy requirements. Understanding of

data privacy regulations

and ethical research practices. Excellent

communication skills

, including the ability to clearly document, summarize, and present research findings for maximum accessibility. Comfort with ambiguity and able to

drive clarity and structure

in a fast-paced environment. The operational backbone of the team--great at setting up systems that scale and rituals that stick. A systems thinker who enjoys

building repeatable processes

Prior experience working in a

, such as the ability to manage multiple initiatives, tools, and stakeholders. Ensures the team runs like a well-oiled machine through thoughtful planning, documentation, and process design. Experience with user research tools like Dovetail, SurveyMonkey, etc.

We are a virtual-first company and have employees dispersed throughout the United States, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and India. We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in our bonus program and may be offered an equity award, benefits, and other types of compensation.
