Minimum 2 years of professional experience in UX design.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your relevant experience.
In-depth understanding of Usability Engineering and design
Experience with conducting user research
Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methodologies
Working knowledge of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistics
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills and team player
Good time-management and Great interpersonal and communication skills
Undergraduate/Masters degree in Design, Human Factors, User Experience/User Interface Design
Certifications in design, interaction design, User Psycology, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience/User Interface Design. etc
Detailed -
Plan and implement the overall user research strategy and methods with clear research objectives.
Write usability research screeners and discussion guides.
Recruit targeted end-users for specific research studies and collect data.
Moderate one-on-one basic usability sessions.
Help develop and implement quantitative surveys.
Conduct stakeholder and client interviewsand analyze data.
Extract insights about user behaviors from web instrumentation tools.
Translate user insights into actionable recommendations for the product team.
Craft personas and other information radiators (e.g. journey maps) to communicate insights across the design and development teams.
Present design research findings to the larger team in a clear and organized fashion.
Work closely with the product team to identify research objectives.
