Job Description

NIQ Digital Shelf is a leading analytics platform that provides CPG brands with deep insights into how their products appear and perform across retailer websites worldwide. Our solution is delivered through a dedicated web-based dashboard used by global teams to make data-driven decisions.


As a UX Designer for NIQ Digital Shelf, you will play a key role in evolving our platform and designing new features that deliver meaningful value to our clients. Reporting to the Product Lead, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineering, and client-facing teams. You will be involved throughout the entire UX lifecycle--from discovery and research to delivery and iteration--to ensure a best-in-class user experience.

Key Responsibilities

UX Platform Improvement

Maintain, evolve, and scale the NIQ Digital Shelf design system Ensure consistency and usability across the entire product Establish and maintain a continuous user feedback loop Stay informed on best practices in UX and data analytics platforms Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and define a UX improvement roadmap

Designing New Features

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product Owners, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales) to understand user needs and business goals Translate complex data and requirements into intuitive user experiences Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs aligned with design system and accessibility standards Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and technical constraints Document design specifications and partner closely with Frontend and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a UX Designer working on B2B data analytics products Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions for web applications Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and problem-solving skills Proficiency in design tools, preferably Figma Hands-on experience with user research and usability testing methodologies Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable owning UX initiatives end to end Solid understanding of frontend development constraints (hands-on experience is a plus) Strong knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG) Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across time zones Fluent in English (written and spoken)
