The Utility Staff (Vessel Washing) is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by washing and sanitizing all cooking vessels, utensils, and equipment. The role ensures the kitchen operates smoothly by providing clean and ready-to-use vessels for food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash, rinse, and sanitize all kitchen vessels, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and stored in the designated places.
Maintain cleanliness of the washing area, sinks, and surrounding floor space.
Safely handle cleaning detergents and chemicals according to instructions.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring vessels are available on time.
Dispose of food waste properly and keep garbage areas clean.
Inspect vessels for damage and report any issues to the supervisor.
Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards set by the property.
Support other kitchen cleaning duties as required.
